Dealing with Unruly Participants
Let's say you're moderating a conversation, and you notice that a participant is submitting inappropriate responses - what should you do? Here are a few tips to help you deal with the situation:
- Make sure the Profanity Filter is marked as "On" on the Conversation Settings page. This won't catch every instance of profanity, but it should help prevent participants from submitting most inappropriate phrases
- Send a Speak to the group asking the participants to be respectful. Remind the participants that everyone (including the moderator) is a human, not a bot, and that there is no place for inappropriate behavior
- If the problem persists, send a Speak to the group stating that those who submit inappropriate responses will not receive their incentive (if applicable) and that other repercussions will occur if the inappropriate behavior persists
- Follow up with your Customer Success Manager after the Remesh to discuss next steps
